Runners Self Defense Course

Due to the growing concerns for safety in the running community, we wanted to do something to help our runners be better prepared out on the roads. In response we've reached out to Anthony Quatrochi’s Martial Arts Institute in Wappingers Falls for their help. They have offered us a private, members only, runner's self defense course. The class will be held on December 2nd at 7pm and should last around 2 hours. The class only holds 40 people. The cost of the class is $20 but as a club member, your cost is $15. The club is picking up $5 in support.

The class will cover:

• Situational awareness

• Threat prevention

• Personal safety tips

• Interactive role plays and scenarios

• Basic Escape strategies
