Fight until CF stands for Cure Found.

Description

The Cold Hands, Warm Heart Virtual 5K is a fundraising event to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. All proceeds from the run will be donated to CFF.

This is a virtual 5K, which means you can walk/run it anywhere.

  • Choose your location: the road, treadmill, track, etc.
  • Go solo, run/walk with friends and family, or bring your dog along!
  • Run/walk for yourself, someone you know with CF, someone you've lost to CF, or just to support the cause!

If you'd like to record your time for this 5K, go to the "results" tab and click "submit virtual results" at the top of the page.

If you don't want to register for the 5K but would still like to support the cause, you can simply donate by using the tab or button above.

What is Cystic Fibrosis?

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is the world's leader in the search for a cure for CF and supports a broad range of research initiatives to tackle the disease from all angles.

Fitness & CF

Research shows that regular physical activity or exercise provides multiple benefits for people with cystic fibrosis. These benefits go beyond better lung function — keeping fit also helps you strengthen your bones, manage diabetes and heart disease and improve your mood. It's best for people with CF to exercise outdoors or at home, as gyms pose risk for infection from airborne particles. Because this is a virtual 5K,  you can walk/run it indoors or outdoors!
