On July 10th we will be hosting a 5k Run/Walk on the beautiful trails at Emmett Ridge Farm to celebrate the beloved life of Ron Taylor. After the run, please join us for tacos and beverages (cash bar) on the patio to celebrate and remember the times we shared with Ron. There will be entertainment by the Montgomery Tree Band (they are soooo good), and fun events for the kids (games, face painting, etc.). If you choose not to do the Run/Walk, you can still sign up to join us for the celebration. Same day registration will also be available (cash or check only).
Those who knew Ron, knew him as a man of character, faith, and integrity. It was rare to see Ron without a smile on his face which was followed by his contagious laugh. He was a man who was very involved in his community. Ron touched the lives of many people through his involvement in volunteering in 4-H, coaching youth sports teams, owning Singleton Roofing, and most recently becoming a realtor at KellerWilliams Realty.
As many of you know, Ron passed away on December 16, 2020 due to complications of COVID-19. His death was very unexpected as he was a healthy man. This run and celebration on July 10th is to celebrate his life and the lives he touched with his big heart. All of the proceeds will go directly to the Taylor family to help pay for Sadie and Will’s education as Ron made many sacrifices for his kids to have a college education, something he never had.
