Honor the Promise: Veteran Hosted Virtual 5K for Afghan Refugee Relief

Our friends need our help. In recent days, news of the Afghan refugee crisis has hit our borders and communities in a personal way. The individuals who have obtained safe passage to our great nation are here due to the personal relationships they developed with veterans and armed forces personnel over the past 20 years. In an incredible act of unity, out of respect for our friends and allies, our warriors and freedom fighters banded together to save the lives of hundreds of people in the greatest air lift operation ever conducted by US personnel. Now we veterans need your help. While many of our friends are safe in the arms of liberty, they now have the arduous task of rebuilding their lives and families here in the United States. Meanwhile, some of our allies were left behind. Our job is not over. Our duty is not complete. We continue to honor our oath to service: never leave a fallen comrade behind.

This race was organized by US veterans and armed forces affiliates to help support the resettlement of trusted, verified, US allies. All funds raised will go directly to The America Ally Rescue and Relief 501c3 Charitable fund established through Chillicothe-Ross Community Foundation where they will be used to further evacuation, relocation, and resettlement efforts.
