08/29 7:45AM EDT - 9:30AM EDT

After a long uneventful summer, we've finally been approved to run in person. Through coordination with the City of Bowling Green and the Wood County Health Department, we're implementing safety procedures to help us get back to running in person.

We will be running the Boy Scout 10K and Tenderfoot 5K events this year using wave starts. At 7:30am, three corrals of 5K runners will begin in waves of 125 each. Following the same format, will be 10K participants at approximately 7:45am.

  • We encourage you to carry your own hydration, as no water stops will be on the 5K course and just one bottled water stop on the 10K course.
  • Face masks will be required to be worn over mouth and nose during all non-competition times — including at packet pickup, before the race, in corrals, and immediately after the race. If you do not feel comfortable following these guidelines, please refrain from attending.

Early Packet Pickup days, times and locations will be emailed to all registrants prior to race-week, and published in the Facebook event for each of our events. Times will be emailed again on the first day of early packet pickup.

4-7pm Thursday 8/27 — Dave’s Running Shop, Sylvania (outside under tent)
4-7pm Friday 8/28 — Wood County Fairgrounds, BG (main entrance/Poe Rd)
