Have you ever wanted to participate in a 5k and lacked the confidence or knowledge? This is a 5k program designed to help new and existing runners cross the finish line at the Cleveland Heights Happy 5k on October 8th. This 10 week program is based on three fundamentals which will help you meet your goal: knowledge, skills, and desire. Our staff and guest speakers are prepared to teach you about the proper training techniques, nutrition, gear, and common injury prevention and care. Our weekly sessions will give you the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills you will be learning. Your desire to complete this goal will be supported by the entire team. We will be there to celebrate with you at the finish line. Not only will you have completed your goal of running a 5k, you will earn the right to wear the official Finish Line Club shirt!
10 Thursday evening sessions at 6:30 p.m.
Sessions begin on August 3rd. Last session is October 5th.
Goal race is the Cleveland Heights Happy 5k on Sunday, October 8th. Discount registration for that race is available to Finish Line Club members.

Casey has been running for 13 years. She ran throughout high school and college and still makes running a priority today. Casey is the assistant girls cross country coach at Hudson High school, a sales associate at Vertical Runner, a valuable asset to the Western Reserve Racing team and she qualified for the Boston Marathon in 2016. You can see that running is much more than a pastime for Casey, it is her lifestyle.
Helping new runners meet their goals is one of Casey's top priorities. She has put together a successful plan to help build your endurance, strength, and incorporate running into your life at your own pace.
