Pluck the Bein Virtual 5k and 10K

Lace-up your shoes, plug in those headphones, and hit the streets and the trails as you help support Capitals Athletic training club in our first-ever virtual 5k and 10K!  All proceeds from this awsome race will go to help Capital Athletic training students travel to the 2021 National Athletic Training Association Convention. Run or walk this 5k or 10k where you want and when you want between July 5th and July 18th. Log your steps/times/miles on your favorite tracking app and submit them here! Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the club was not able to participate in earlier scheduled fundraisers, but we are working hard to raise money so that we as a club can participate in further educational opportunities. When we can participate in these activities more, we can learn and create further opportunities for research and education! 

Everyone who signs up will receive a finishers medal and Pluck the bein tee shirt!

The mission of the organization is to academically and socially unify the students involved in Capital University's Athletic Training Education Program, as well as other undergraduate university students interested in Capital University Athletic Training Education Program or the athletic training profession. These individuals will be brought together through activities that will encourage scholarship, professional development, social interaction, and community service related events related to the field of athletic training.
