Description

AS OF 1:01 PM ON 6/1/2024, THIS RACE IS OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT! We are officially sold out of shirts and finisher medals as well. However, we have received interest this week from a few folks who would still like to participate in the race but understand that they will not be receiving a shirt or finisher medal. If you would like to still participate and understand that you will not receive a shirt or medal, you can click the "Sign Up" button for the "TBDBITL 5K RUN/WALK - NO SHIRT OR MEDAL - LATE REGISTRANT" event above. Thanks to everyone who has signed up so far and we look forward to a great event on June 15th!

The 6th Annual TBDBITL 5K sponsored by Tau Beta Sigma is taking place on June 15th at Ohio State University on campus near the stadium! This event is designed to strengthen cardio for marching band tryouts, promote TBDBITL, and support our local high school marching bands. This race is open to everyone of all ages, not just students! For those joining us in-person, please join us for a Script Ohio at the end of the race! If you cannot join us on race day and would still like to support our cause, we are offering a virtual 5K run/walk option! Participants in the virtual 5K run/walk have the option to submit results right here on the race website (results tab) between 6/15 and 6/22. The race is run fully by volunteers from the Tau Beta Sigma and Kappa Kappa Psi chapters at Ohio State.

Early Packet Pickup

If you want to save time in line on Saturday morning, race packets may be picked up early at the Lincoln Tower Turf Fields on Thursday, June 13, from 6 pm to 9 pm, or Friday, June 14, from 5 pm to 8 pm.. On both Thursday and Friday,  our race committee will be sitting on the patio of the Women's Field House (1790 Cannon Dr, Columbus, OH 43210) at the southwest end of the field to distribute packets.  If you can't make it to either early packet pickup day, you are welcome to pick up your packet on race morning, outside the RPAC, starting at 8 am (details listed below under race day timeline).

Virtual participants have the option to pick up their materials at early packet pickup (as detailed above) for free, or if you cannot or choose not to pick up your packet at early packet pickup, you also have the option to ship directly to your door for an additional $10.00 (these options are both available within the registration process). If choosing shipping, virtual participants will have their materials shipped out to them on June 17th (the Monday after the in-person race).

Reporting results for Virtual participants: Reporting results for virtual participants is completely optional. However, if you would like to submit results as a virtual participant, you can click on the results tab at the top of this page between the dates of June 15 and June 22. Once on the results tab, click the "Submit Virtual Results" button. Please note that this option will only be available between June 15 and June 22.
