Description

Harness the power of fitness and adventure in the name of mental health.

We are MindMission.

We are a passionate team dedicated to making a change in the mental health community. Our mission is to foster community, provide resources, and promote mental health awareness through fitness and adventure.

The Ride.

On Friday October 23rd through Sunday October 25th MindMission will be embarking on a biking adventure from the North Coast of Cleveland, Ohio to Cincinnati, Ohio. The ride won't be easy, but nothing worth doing ever is. Join us virtually as we support one another and remind one another that there is always hope, and that there is strength in community.

Our Why.

Mental Illness affects nearly 1 in 5 adults in the United States. Funding for mental health research as well as supportive programming are desperately needed. We believe all those battling a mental illness deserve love and support and it is our mission to raise funds and create a community of support so we can help create change. Suicide is the second leading cause of death for those aged 10-34 and the fourth leading cause of death for those aged 35-54. These numbers are far too high and help serve as a reason for why we do what we do.

In Memory.

This ride is dedicated to Greg Davis, United States Navy Veteran who died by suicide on May 22nd, 2020 and to all of those who are impacted by mental illness and suicide. Together we can overcome, instill hope and coping, and continue to create community amongst one another. Remember you are not alone.

The Proceeds.

Proceeds from this ride will benefit MindMission, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and Veteran Companion Animal Services.  70% of your generous donations will support MindMission, 20% raised will benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and 10% will benefit Veteran Companion Animal Services.  Thank you for joining us!
