4 Paws for Conners Sidekick

4 Paws for Ability enriches the lives of children with disabilities by training and placing quality, task-trained service dogs. This provides increased independence for the children, and assistance to their families.

A special fundraising effort has been launched to be able to place a seizure alert dog with Conner. Conner is around the mental level of a 3/6 month old infant. He just recently started walking and he can only go 50-100 feet before getting tired. He has 2-3 seizures a week, so he constantly needs checked. This is where his multi-purpose service dog will help, the dog will alert others of his seizures, and be his companion throughout the day.

You will have from April 1st to April 30th to log a 5K (3.1 miles), half marathon (13.1 miles) or a full marathon (26.2 miles). You can complete the distance all at once or work on it a little at a time. When complete, e-mail the race director. Every finisher will receive a medal.

Proceeds from every entry will benefit Conner with his travel expenses for their assistance dog.
