Description

4 Paws for Ability enriches the lives of children with disabilities by training and placing quality, task-trained service dogs. This provides increased independence for the children, and assistance to their families.

A special fundraising effort has been launched to be able to place a seizure alert dog with Madison. Madison is an 8 year old girl that was born at 24 weeks gestation and some time shortly after birth had a grade IV brain bleed. Madison has cerebral palsy, scoliosis, seizures; she is unable to walk, talk and must be supervised at all times. This is where her multi-purpose service dog will help, the dog will alert others of her seizures, and be her companion throughout the day.

You will have from April 1st to April 30th to log 26.2 miles. You can complete the distance all at once or work on it a little at a time. When complete, e-mail the race director. Every finisher will receive a medal.

Proceeds from every entry will benefit Madison with her travel expenses for their assistance dog.
