Maumee Masonic Memorial Day 5k (Draft)

This race is to benefit the Maumee “Stickles Scholarship Award; Veterans Fund ”. Who supports local veterans, teachers and students, to further their education.

Both the 5K and the 1.5K Fun Walk start and finish at Northern Light Lodge. The 5K course has two water stations. The last 1/4 mile of both events is over the Maumee Memorial Day Parade route with thousands of cheering spectators. A free Jackie’s Depot ice cream coupon to every runner who beats Uncle Sam (he's in the race) and to all women runners who beat Aunt Liberty (she is also in the race).
