A free kids run that will begin immediately following the 5K at approximately 5:15 PM. Kids will run North on Conant Street, turn around at Maumee Indoor Theatre and finish at the same finish line.

Race Description
The City of Maumee, in partnership with community organizations and local sponsors, is proud to present the inaugural Maumee River Fest. Celebrating the region’s iconic riverfront and the annual Walleye Run, River Fest invites anglers and their families to experience a weekend centered on outdoor recreation and community connection.
The event will feature a premier fishing tournament hosted by Maumee Tackle, alongside a variety of family-friendly activities, including the new Walleye Run presented by The Toledo Clinic, kids’ activities, and additional attractions designed for all ages.
Registration includes a free, custom designed, tri-blend cotton T-shirt and every finisher receives a medal.
Age group awards given out to top 3 in each 5-year age group category.
