BrainFest2016! Go Grey for Macy

WHO: Runners/Walkers of all ages. Gather your family, friends and co-workers and wear your best Zombie attire! Walkers are also invited to participate using the same course. Course does not have traffic but does include obstacles.

WHAT: BrainFest 2016 Go Grey for Macy is a fundraiser for the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) to help fund research. Macy has been diagnosed with a 3.8 cm brain lesion believed to be a brain tumor called an astrocytoma. Our wish is to spread awareness and help fund research. ALL proceeds will be donated to the ABTA. Our 5K Zombie Fun Run/Walk includes at least 4 obstacles (you will get wet and you will get dirty) Zombies and humans run/walk together. Come in your best Zombie attire if you wish to do so. This run is not timed, this run is for FUN!

WHERE: Jackson County Fair grounds. Event is Rain or Shine.

WHEN: Saturday, May 21, 2016

9:00 a.m. – Line up begins

10:00 a.m. – 5K Run begins.

11:30am. – lunch available for purchase and Chinese auction

2:00 pm - Concert begins (bands include Bart Wiseman, Byrd Manring, Daniel Russell Perry, Jack Lewis, Seth Colmer, Eric McKinniss of Cross Road Staion, Junkyard Republic and more!!

AWARDS: ALL runners/Walkers will receive a t-shirt and a Zombie Survival Kit. Medals presented to top three finishers whether Zombie or human. Special trophy awarded to best Zombie costume!

Food, jewelry and clothing vendors will be available for extra fee. Bring extra cash and a lawn chair and spend the day with us! If any of your family and friends would like to come for the Chinese Auction and concert, please encourage them to do so! A monetary donation of their choice required to enter. You don't want to miss this!
