Rick Moyer Memorial Pump n Run/ 5k

Ricky Moyer loved many things in life, including farming, weight-lifting (all exercise really) and practicing law.  He was a devoted husband and father with countless friends in each of these industries. Always putting others before himself, he was generous, kind and always quick to offer words of wisdom. 

Over the years Rick competed in dozens of 5K races, often with his family in town. With his favorite season upon us, we are choosing to honor Rick’s legacy featuring his very favorite event  - a Pump & Run and 5K walk/run. 

As he would often say to family and friends in regards to these friendly physical competitions -  “pain is weakness leaving the body.” 

This event marks the beginning of The Rick Moyer Legacy Foundation. There are many immediate and long term goals set for this foundation.  Our overall goal is to offer a sizable scholarship to any Clinton County student interested in furthering their education in Agriculture, Criminal Justice or History.
