Come Chill with the Chigger at the 29th Annual Chigger Chase!

Kick off the Christmas season with family and friends at Ardmore Regional Park’s most festive, unique running event! Race through the magical Festival of Lights at dusk and enjoy a fun evening filled with holiday spirit, community, and cheer.

Children’s Chigger Chase – ½ Mile Run

Kids 12 and under will start with the Chigger mascot at the inflatable start line, run ¼ mile out, and return ¼ mile to the festive finish line.
Dress up in holiday attire or a fun costume!
A great way for young runners to feel like part of the big race!

5K Chigger Chase – Timed Race

Race under the sparkling Christmas lights on a paved out-and-back 5K course!
Are you fast enough to catch the Speedy Chigger?
Open to all ages – festive attire encouraged!

1-Mile Fun Run/Walk – Untimed

Looking for something shorter? Enjoy a scenic, untimed walk or jog through the lights. Bring the whole family!

Girls on the Run Celebratory 5K – Untimed

We're excited to welcome back Girls on the Run for the their Fall 2025 Celebratory 5K!
This special event highlights the achievements of the GOTR participants and their Running Buddies.
Open to Girls on the Run families and supporters.

Proceeds from the Chigger Chase benefit the Ardmore Parks & Recreation Department, which helps improve and maintain 11 city parks across Ardmore. By participating, you’re helping to keep our community green, clean, and full of safe outdoor spaces for all to enjoy. We appreciate your support!

Event Schedule – Saturday, November 15th

Location: Regional Park Pavilion (near softball fields - short walk required)
Arrive early to park and enjoy pre-race fun!

• 4:15 PM – Race Day Registration Closes
• 4:45 PM – Children's Chigger Chase (1/2 Mile)
• 5:00 PM – Mascot Race
• 5:30 PM – Start of Chigger Chase 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run
