Sequoyah Adventure Race

Join us for an adventure race through the beautiful Sequoyah State Park. This event is a fun beginner's adventure race that challenges teams orienting skills, kayaking, and athletic abilities. You will use your skills to find check points throughout the park. There will be running, walking, hiking, and kayaking. 

Date : Saturday October 22, 2022

This event is to help raise funds for the park partner's programs and projects.

Start time will be at 9:00 AM.  MANDATORY PRE RACE MEETING AT 8:00AM.

Cutoff time will be 4:00 PM

This is a team event so grab your buddy and sign up. Both teammates will need to sign up. The entry is for 1 person. There will be more information posted soon. 

You will also need to keep these 10 things with you at all times. 

Water bottle/bladder -
Emergency food – protein bar etc.  
First Aid Kit
Emergency Space Blanket
Knife
Compass
Fire Source – lighter, matches, or flint rod
Whistle
Light Source – Headlamp, flashlight,
Cell Phone – in water tight case

While on the water you are required to have these items also. 

Lifejacket - on and secure
Team Race Number on Boat
Paddles
Boat – Single/Tandem  Kayak, Canoe, or Paddle Boards
