In May of 2012, I:40 Race Service was started by hosting a fundraising 5k for Living Water Ministry for Niger at FBC Muskogee. in 2020 we modifed the race to a month long virtual challenge and we had our best attendance in years. This year we are keeping the virtual format, but instead of 10, 25, or 50 miles, we are doing 15, 55, or 155 miles! We want to make this a true but attainable challenge for everyone as we walk or run to support a great cause in Living Water Ministry. Read below for the rules and details and please take this as a challenge as we wait out COVID 19!
Dates: All of May – You can start on or after Friday, May 1st and you have to full month to finish.
Distances: 15, 55, or 155 Miles at your own pace and place during the month of May
Location: Wherever you are – You can run or walk your miles at any location.
Race Packet: We are sending these out ahead of the event this year, so adults recieveing a packet in the mail with personalized Living Water Ministry Journal and those 12 & under will get a T-shirt.
Tracking & Recording (How this works): On 1st pages of your journal, there will be a milage log you can use it to keep track of your month long journey. You won’t report these miles back to us, but you will challenge yourself to log your miles and journal about what God revealing to you as you walk or run. Throughout the month we will email you information about Living Water Ministry for Niger.
Registration Fees: Adults - $30 for any of the distances. Kids 12 & Under - $20 for any of the distances. You can also donate when checking out and 100% of that will go to Living Water Ministry.
Ministry Cause: Living Water Ministry for Niger is a non-profit organization seeks to provide material and financial resources to the people of the Western African country of Niger. In addition to meeting economic and physical needs, LWMN spreads the gospel message to many villages through Evangelical campaigns.
