Remington Bark (Draft)

In honor of National Dog Day, August 29th 6pm to 9pm we are hosting the first Dog Friendly Day at Remington Park called Remington Bark. This event will be filled with activities for our furry friends such as Agility courses, Beck’s Garage Dog Photo Booth, Westlake Ace Hardware Splash Zone, Ferguson Watering Station (our furry friends will feel right at home drinking out of a brand new Ferguson Toilet), Tennis Ball area, Vendor & Rescue Tent Sponsored by Factor 110 and LIVE Racing!

A Costume Contest for you and your fur baby will also be a part of the festivities!! We will be looking for the best Horse Race theme costume, from Derby hat attire to jockey style, prizes will be handed out for first & second place.

The first 100 people to show up at the event with their dog will receive a “Wag Bag” filled with a custom Remington Bark Logo Leash-Sponsored by Jay’s Valet, Rawhide & Dog food samples-sponsored by Cooks Feed, Bandana- sponsored by The Clad Stache, and a Remington Bark Logo T-shirt – Sponsored by The Okay See.

Guest can register online to have their furry friends come out of a custom made Starting Gate (one for small dogs, one for Med/Large dogs) and race after each live horse race.
All of the registration fees for that day will be donated to the rescues we have chosen to represent. Remington Park will also donate $200 to the first place winner’s favorite rescue that is present and $100 to the second place winner’s favorite. We will also have a “Hooters & Hound Dog Wash” with the famous Hooters Girls out washing pups for donations!!
