RUN FOR ALL. ALL FOR LOVE.
Red Coyote created this event in the spirit of inclusivity to bring people of all types and abilities together in the OKC Metro area, and although *together* looks a bit different, we still want to celebrate with you this year! Rainbow costumes and fun are always encouraged! We'll make up for the lost year and take a bold step forward together!
The Love Run 2.0 is presented as a "make up" date for the original scheduled date of June 26th. While we regret the change of venues and impact on our partners at Social Capital and Coop AleWorks, We deeply appreciate the City of Edmond for working with us to fast track a solution and make this event possible.
Unfortunately, the venue change to a city park means that we will be unable to give away the free Coop AleWorks beverages or host the post race party at Social Capital. Please consider spending some time and money with these partners who had invested their support for our previous date.
If you were registered for the Love Run before, your existing registration has been moved forward to the new make up date. You don't need to do anything additional except show up to run with us on July 24th! If you have already picked up your packet PLEASE SAVE YOUR BIB as this will be your number and timing tag for the new event as well.
We're looking forward to making this live event happen and sharing the love on July 24th.

Participants will have the option to switch their existing "in person" registrations to virtual if you can't make the rescheduled date on July 24th. All participants will receive an email with instructions on how to make this change in the "My Registrations" section of your RunSignUp account. You will be able to run the 5K, (3.1 mile), or 10K, (6.2 mile), distance when and where you want in a way that works best for you. If you have already pick up your packet, YOUR CURRENT BIB NUMBER will now be your virtual number. If you need to change to virtual, you can pick up your finisher medal at your convenience at either location any time between now and the new July 24th race date. We are unfortunately unable to mail finisher medals to participants that make the change.
Participants who were registered for the virtual run on the original date will be able to run the event second time with us on the 24th if you wish.
You'll receive a "welcome to race day" email message on the morning of July 24th. You'll receive a second email later in the day with a link and instructions to submit your time to our online virtual results listing. You'll be able to submit results from July 24th through August 8th. Participants can also share photos celebrating their experience.
We are pleased to announce that optional race insurance is available during the registration process made available by AGA. You can choose this option by scrolling to the bottom of the payment screen and checking the box to purchase the additional coverage. Red Coyote events operate with a "No Refund" policy so please consider this option as a resource against weather or "Act of God" cancelations.
Should you need to file a claim you can refer to https://help.runsignup.com/support/solutions/articles/17000073422-claiming-event-insurance for information on how to proceed. Race insurance is offered by a third party and Red Coyote Running & Fitness has no oversight or ability to manage or intervene with claims.
The Love Run course in Mitch Park is a gently rolling recreation trail loop that is suitable for runners of all abilities.
The 5K runners will do one lap of the course and the 10K runners will do two. 10K runners will run the full 5K course then pivot around a turn cone at the finish line before heading back out for the second circuit. This route will be identical to the Merry Mitchmas course we have used in the past.
We will have a push chair and stroller start five minutes before the main field start. The 5K and 10K groups will start together but will launch in three waves depending on your expected pace.
