Description
The Pilot Butte Challenge is a 1-mile run / fitness walk with 493 feet of elevation gain. Its status as an uphill sprint makes it a fairly unique race. The scenic course winds its way up from the base of Pilot Butte along the nature trail to the top. All proceeds are used to promote and enhance the health and fitness aspects of Pilot Butte. The road to the summit is closed during the event and shuttle service is provided for non-racers.
