Description
Hand In Hand Farm is a non-profit organization based out of Lebanon, Oregon that uses agricultural endeavors to help heal broken and struggling families, people with disabilities, and troubled youth, about 400 participants per year.
Hand In Hand Farm would like to cordially invite you to their first annual Santa Dash! The Santa Dash is a 5k run/walk fundraising event. The money from the fundraiser will be matched by an anonymous donor and used to purchase a wagon which has been offered to HIH for a bargain price.
Registration starts at 12:30 pm on Saturday, December 19th in the Floral Courtyard at the Benton County Fairgrounds. The run starts at 2 pm.
Admission is $12 for adults, $8 for students 17 and under, kids 6 and under are free. Race participants receive a participation certificate that can be redeemed for pony cart rides given by Hand In Hand Farm, this certificate can be purchased separately for those that do not want to race for $5.
There will be a rewards and recognition ceremony immediately following the race. Awards will be given to the fastest runners in the adult, high school, and elementary categories. We will also be giving awards to the best-dressed participants, so come dressed up in your favorite holiday garb. Categories include the best-dressed participant for all participants and a cutest elf competition for kids 6 and under.
