Description
Keizer Iris Run is a perfect venue for runners and walkers of all levels. This two day schedule of races is family friendly and also challenging for the serious participant. The town of Keizer is in full swing with their hometown festival, complete with a parade, beer garden, carnival, and more! Plan a weekend to stay or enjoy each day.
Saturday’s courses are closed to cars and lined with pre-parade spectators cheering you on. Kids will be treated to a Mascot Dance Party during their pre-race warm-up. On Sunday, participants will experience a safe open course along the Willamette Valley Scenic Bikeway. Views of iris’ in colorful blooms, hop fields, and what is growing on Oregon’s finest soils will be taken in as you run the course.
Everyone who crosses the finish line will receive an iris, a token medal (for the 3K/5K) or a medal (for the Full/Half/10K), and warm congratulations. Our first ever Marathon Finishers will receive a commemorative shirt.
Be sure to enjoy the rest of the festivities by watching the parade after Saturday’s
race or visit the tent for a pancake breakfast and/or cup of soup after Sunday’s race.

(Please note, our registration program will list “date of event” as 5/17 as this is the date of the 1st of our 5 runs. Do not worry, when you are registered for the correct run 3K & 5K on 5/17 and the Full/Half Marathon & 10K on 5/18
