Description
The Strawberry Run is one of the many family events during Lebanon’s 100 annual Strawberry Festival run June 2nd. The run precedes the Grand Parade and opens a day highlighted by the serving the “World’s Largest Strawberry Shortcake” free to over 15,000 people. A portion of the entry will go towards Lebanon Cross Country Team.For Question or Comments Contact Emily Latimer.
The Course
This is a 5 Kilometer (3.1) mile course. Both the run and walk start and finish near the American Legion hall at Main & Vine Streets in downtown Lebanon. The 5K course is nationally certified. Both events are flat out and back course that follow the Grand Parade Route on Highway 20 through town, just prior to the 11:00am parade. Arrive early to assure adequate time as traffic congestion may limit access.
