Description
The RiverFest 5K/10K Run and 5K Walk is along the beautiful Deschutes River in Maupin, Oregon. The course is an out and back and is level and paved. The race departs from the Oasis Riverview Campground – also the site of the RiverFest Festival that same day. The 10K course goes upstream and turns around just past Wapinitia Rapids and the 5K course turns around just below Boxcar Rapids. All ages are welcome and well behaved dogs on leashes are also welcome. No bicycles please. Handcrafted glass medallions will be awarded to the winners of each race and all other participants will receive ribbons.
Pre-register by Wednesday, May 21st to pay $22 with a shirt. Day of race registration is $25 with a shirt. Children 12 and under are $5 or $18 with shirt. Registration and shirt pick-up is from 8:00am until 8:45am on the day of the race and the race begins at 9:00am.
