Join us for a fun, family friendly community run starting and ending at Jem 100 Ice Cream Saloon. Participants of the 5K run/walk will receive a T-Shirt and a free scoop of ice cream. Proceeds of the event will go to TVFDs Toy and Joy program!!

Event Details
We are so close to the 2024 Gobble N Scoop 5K run/walk and kids fun run. With only a few days left we wanted to give you an update on the logistical aspects of the run. If you have any other questions don’t hesitate to email us at gobblenscoop5k@gmail.com. We look forward to seeing everyone Thursday morning for an amazing event!
Registration: Due to the number of participants we have decided to open an early registration/check in on Wednesday evening from 5-8 at Jem 100 Ice Cream. We will have the main registration/check-in starting at 7:15 on Thursday morning at Jem 100s parking lot and running until 8:45 AM. During registration you will receive your T-shirt, bib number and raffle, ice cream and drink tickets.
Strollers/Dogs: Strollers and dogs are welcome on the route at your own risk. Dogs must be well behaved. We are expecting about 300 runners and some areas of the route will be crowded.
Parking: Jem 100’s parking lot will be closed off for the event. We recommend finding street parking or using one of the 3 public parking lots within walking distance of the event. The map below has 3 options, the cultural center, public library and parking off 2nd street behind downtown businesses.
Route: We have modified the round due to constructions on the sidewalks down college street. Please see the updated map for the new route. There is a 2 mile turn off or those walkers/runners who do not want to do the full 5K at the Pinehurst street. There will be a sign holder at the corner designating this turn.
Route Safety: This is an untimed event with no streets being blocked. All participants need to obey all traffic laws and stay on the sidewalks/right side of the road wherever possible. Cars will not stop for you so please yield to all vehicles. Please watch for volunteers at all turns holding red and white direction signs.
Kids Run Cheering Crew: We could use as many people as possible to help line Sheridan street to cheer on the kids. They will be running to the cultural center and back. We have volunteers assigned but the bigger the crowd the better for the little kiddos! Some of these guys are doing their first organized run and we want them to LOVE it!!!
Raffle Tickets: We have a great selection of raffle prices to share with you. Every runner will receive a raffle ticket. Additional tickets will be available for purchase for $5 a ticket or 5 tickets for $20. One hundred percent of all raffle tickets sold will be donated to the Toy and Joy program. Prices includes but not limited to 4 Yeti Brand Items, Portland Running Company Gift Certificate and multiple local business gift certificates and swag.
