With winter soon coming to a close and spring race season coming into full bloom, it’s time to get going!! Do you worry you won’t be fast enough? Are you just getting back to running after a long break or just getting started for the first time? Or are you just looking for people to help hold you accountable every week? If you’re looking for an encouraging and positive group of people to run with, come join the 8 Week Healthy Girl Spring Race Series. This the place where you'll meet running friends of all abilities, get the support you need from an RRCA & VDOT Certified running coach, and get your body in motion. The group will work on form, speed, strength/cardio training, and all things running-related with customized plans and running advice available upon request.
There are two different time options available to you, depending on your availability. This is the Wednesday PM option, which will meet at the Oregon Episcopal School's track at 6:30PM Wednesdays from April 24th thru June 12th. There is also a Thursday AM option at Vista Brook Park on Thursdays at 9:30AM from April 25th thru June 13th. Whether you sign up for the AM or the PM option, you are welcome to come to both or either. There might even be a few field trips planned to other nearby locations in SW Portland. We will run RAIN or SHINE! I will only postpone classes if the weather is deemed too dangerous.
