The Garrett Family, St. Mary's Academy, The Dalles Pickleball Association and The Dalles Athletic Club are proud to sponsor this event. Steve was a passionate pickleball player who cared deeply about his family and community. After his passing, his loved ones created a scholarship in his memory and established an annual pickleball tournament to fund it.

St. Mary's Academy is proud to support this tournament as a tribute to the Garrett Family. Jeanne, Steve's wife, was a valued employee of the school for many years, and both of them were active volunteers at various events as parents and members of the community.

The pickleball tournament has become a beloved annual event, bringing together players of all skill levels and ages. It's a day filled with friendly competition, laughter, and community spirit. Participants come from all over the region to take part in the tournament and support the scholarship fund.

The Steve Garrett Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior from The Dalles High School who embodies Steve's passion, dedication to community, and commitment to family. It's a way to honor Steve's memory and continue his legacy of kindness and generosity.

The Dalles Athletic Club is the perfect venue for the tournament. Players and spectators alike enjoy the beautiful Columbia River Gorge and the camaraderie of the pickleball community.
