Description
Footsteps for Families is a 5k, 10k walk/run and kids race held at Cook Park in Tigard Oregon on Saturday April 27, 2013. This is a great race for fun, competition and fitness hosted by Uberthons. Every participate of the 5k and 10k receives a Footsteps for Families medal and will enjoy the chili and fruit bar offered. Overall male and female winners will receive an award and age category winners three deep will also be recognized and awarded. Kids receive a ribbon for the kids race. There will be activities for the kids like face painting, a spin wheel and other fun activities. Children’s Trust Fund of Oregon is benefiting from this race which works with Casey Family Programs to reduce the number of children in foster care and improve the lives of the children that remain in care. This is the 2nd annual race and will be a great experience for all who attend.
