Description
This 5k fun run and kids' dash offers fitness and fun for the whole family! The event, which takes place each year in early December, is co-sponsored by Wilsonville Parks and Recreation and Wilsonville Family Fun Center and Bullwinkle's Restaurant and is supported by the HEAL (Healthy Eating, Active Living). Participants receive a Reindeer Romp and Bullwinkle Bash t-shirt, reindeer antlers and a red nose in their goodie bag.
The fun starts with holiday music and a warm up session at Town Center Park, then a kids' dash around the park. When the kids return, they are invited to join the whole family for a 5k Run/Walk that ends up at Bullwinkle's for a festive post-race party. Music, food, crafts, fun and games are on the menu at the party, as well as visits from Santa and Bullwinkle.
