"Addie's GRACE Walk" in honor of World Clubfoot Day

Rain or Shine! Addie’s GRACE Walk will begin at 9:30am! Please register beforehand! 

June 2nd, 2019, "Addie's GRACE Walk" will be hosting the Second Annual Pittsburgh World Clubfoot Day Walk at Allison Park (North Park Boathouse) supporting the fantastic MiracleFeet mission. Clubfoot affects 1 in every 800 children born worldwide and over one million children are currently living with untreated clubfoot. It is MiracleFeet’s mission to reach these children and ensure they receive the treatment they deserve. We are proud to support partners in 22 countries by providing free clubfoot care, training providers, and raising community awareness. Every $250 raised will treat a child in a developing country with clubfoot. The mission of MiracleFeet gives these children the same opportunity with treatment and care to walk and live a normal life that our very own Addie Grace had when she was born here in Pittsburgh, PA. 

The "Addie GRACE Walk" will begin at 9:30 am at the beautiful North Park Boathouse and casually proceed in a 60 minute walk together around the breathtaking lake. This is an opportunity to take in the gorgeous scenery, talk with friends and family, and spread awareness to others about Clubfoot and the MiracleFeet mission. This year, were are challenging ourselves to a full 5K (3.1 miles), however, walkers are welcome to take breaks and walk/run at their own pace. There will be a brief 15 minute presentation following the walk about clubfoot and MiracleFeet's mission of which walkers can catch their breath and enjoy a hot lunch. 

Registration is $50, of which includes a T-shirt obtained (***at the venue only***) on Walk Day, lunch, and a morning of sun, fun, and faith in our MiracleFeet Mission. 

Additional T-shirts may be purchased for $25 at the Walk or in advance. **Please keep in mind that you may select the team that you would like your shirt from up until May 10, 2019. All Registrants after May 10th will receive a size Large Adalina shirt.

Children 8 and under: Registration Fee is $15 (includes a shirt and lunch).

***NOTE*** 

We have 5 Teams linking arms for the cause in “Addie GRACE Walk.”  TEAM ANGELO, TEAM LIAM, TEAM IRISA, TEAM SOPHIA, and TEAM ADALINA! When registering, please be sure to select the correct team you are walking for, along with your specified shirt size. If you register after 12:00 noon on Friday, May 10 2019, and plan on attending the Walk, you will receive a Large Adalina shirt to pick up and wear at the Walk!

Suggested arrival time to the North Park Boathouse is between 8:45-9:15am in June 2, 2019. A group photo will be taken between 9:30-9:45am. 

Through Christ, all things are possible. Let’s put our best foot forward in helping those that do not have the same advantages in medical attention in treating clubfoot.
