Proceeds from this race will be donated to Brian Kozera and his journey to raise money for Kona. From Brian:
"Thank you for supporting my efforts to represent the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) in the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii in, originally scheduled for October 2021, but with Covid related postponements, we are now set for October of 2022!
After beating Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2015, I was determined to emerge stronger than before, and began competing as an Ironman. To accomplish my ultimate goal of competing in Kona, I am raising $100,000 for LLS. In the first year of fundraising, we made it 75% of the way, and so please consider joining my efforts to Crush Cancer in Kona!"
