Focus on Learning is a new non-profit working with schools in rural Uganda to make them safer, healthier, and more productive learning environments for the children.
We are raising funds to install solar power at our next school. Once the funds are raised, local contractors will be commissioned to install everything. This gives your donations the largest impact possible. Let the children worry about one less thing and do what they want to do: focus on learning!
Race Across Uganda is a virtual race across the beautiful country of Uganda. The total distance Is 425 miles to be completed between January 1st, and July 4th 2021. You can run, bike, swim, walk, row, use a treadmill or elliptical, whatever gets you moving is ok with us! Submit your mileage over the course of the race.
Included in the registration fee is a patch to celebrate your accomplishment. A perfect conversation starter as you explain to your friends how small and big Uganda is at the same time.
