Description
The ODDyssey Half Marathon is known around the world for our medals.
In 2014 we invented the Wall Mount Bottle Opener Medal. Runner's World called it one of the coolest in the country. Competitor Magazine called it the most useful. Outside Magazine picked it as one of the country's best! Most important, you the runners loved it. Runners from across the country started emailing asking if we had a remote program so they could participate from their home state (or country) and still earn our awesome medal. So, by popular demand, we created the ODDyssey remote running program.
Each year we push ourselves to think creatively about how we can provide the best race day experience possible and to commemorate your huge achievement as you cross the finish line. This year's medal is no exception. In fact, we think it's our best yet.
Not only is our medal literally in the shape of an iconic Pennsylvania historical marker, it also serves as both a bottle opener and a tap handle so you can toast your achievement long after the race is over. You can even add a base to make it a trophy and customize it with your finish time!
This is a virtual race, you must plan and run on your own.
How does it work? Register for the remote program below. Then you train for and plan a 13.1 mile route in your home town. You can run your race at any time on or after June 10, 2017. But, you must complete it by December 15, 2017. Run your 13.1 and post it to social media, tagging us so we can see you at your finish! We will mail you,
