Sarris Candies Run for Alex

After taking a year off due to COVID, we are back! 

The 16th Annual “Sarris Candies Run for Alex” will be in Bentleyville on June 5, 2021 at 9am. It is a great event consisting of a 5 mile run, 2 mile run and 1 mile fun walk. (Please note the new start location)

CHANGES DUE TO COVID: For safety of both the participants and volunteers we will be adhering to all current guidelines. As guidelines change, we will make changes accordingly. At this time masks will be required prior to the start of the race and after completing the race (we will not require participants to wear mask while running but encourage social distancing). Runners will start in waves in an effort to encourage social distancing. If for any reason you can not adhere to these guidelines we kindly ask that you refrain from participation this year. 

New start location: All races will begin and end in front of the Bentworth High School (150 Bearcat Drive, Bentleyville PA 15314). 

*There will be no race day registration. All participants must be registered by Friday June 4, 2021. Late registration will be offered Friday night during packet pick up. Runners who registered in advance will still be able to pick up their packets on race morning but are strongly encouraged to pick up Friday night if able. 

Packet pick up will be held on June 4, 2021 from 5 pm to 8 pm in the parking lot of Bentworth High School. 

PLEASE NOTE: Roads will be closed at 8:45 am. If you are not at the high school prior to 8:45 am then you will be not be able to get through as the roads leading to the high school are part of the race route. 

It will be another great day full of fun celebrating Alex's short but amazing life.
