Description
The second annual Ber-Vaughn Triathlon will take place on Saturday, July 7, 2018. The first heat will begin promptly at 8:00am with racers entering the pool every 30 seconds. Check in on the day of will begin promptly at 6:00am. Race packets may be picked up at the Ber-Vaughn Pool on Friday, July 6 until 7:00pm. Timing will be administered by Second Wind Race Timing.
Please note that this is an open biking and running course and drafting is prohibited during the biking portion of the event. Backstroke is prohibited during the swimming portion of this event.
*Helmets are REQUIRED for all bikers*
Distances for each leg of the event are as follows:
300 yard swim / 12 Mile bike / 3.1 Mile Run

Bike Course
Bikers will turn right onto Park Road from the Ber-Vaughn Pool parking lot. They will then continue left onto State Route 93 until they reach the Ebenezer Faith Bible Church on their left. They will then turn left into the church parking lot and continue back down Route 93 to the Ber-Vaughn Pool parking lot.
Run Course
Runners will turn right onto Park Road from the Ber-Vaughn Pool parking lot. They will then continue right onto Rittenhouse Mill Road. From Rittenhouse Mill Road they will make a slight left onto Orange Street and then a right onto Fairchild Street. Runners will continue on Fairchild Street until Spring Garden Avenue, where they will make a left and continue until the 1.55 mile marker. Runners will turn around at this point and make their way back to the Ber-Vaughn Pool parking lot.
