4th Annual AJ Giombetti Memorial Race

The 4th Annual AJ Giombetti Memorial 5k Run/Walk & 10k Run this August 13, 2016 at Blakely Borough Recreation Complex, is being organized to support the fund and to honor the memory and legacy of our brother AJ, and to create lasting change for young people with learning disabilities.  The program is intended to increase awareness of at-risk youth and to establish a fund to support at-risk boys and young men in acquiring education, advancement, and life skills training.

We have formed a partnership with the Scranton Area Community Foundation which will help us to expand our mission to have a greater impact on youth throughout the region. The AJ Giombetti Memorial Fund will be housed and administered through the Scranton Area Community Foundation. This fund is currently set up to support the good work of three organizations: Allied Services DePaul School, PATH to Change, and the United Neighborhood Centers of NEPA. The work of each organization directly impacts the lives of students and young people within the region.

PRIZES

Prizes will be awarded to the top winner of each of the following age groups:

• 19 and Under
• 20-29
• 30-39
• 40-49
• 50 and Over
• Top winner of the 10k will win 2 nights stay at the B&B Ranch in Cooperstown, NY.
