Family Service Association of Northeastern PA is excited to announce our 9th Annual Pauly Friedman 5k Family Walk/Run at Misericordia University! Proceeds raised will benefit our Help Line/211 Program.
$25 per person or $20 per student (includes T-shirt)
Please pre-register by July 28th. Walk-ups Welcome (T-shirts given while supplies last)
8:30am Registration
9:30am Walk/Run Starts
Please join us for the post-race awards event which will include refreshments, music, face painting, gift basket raffle and more!

AWARDS
AWARDS FOR RUNNERS:
Trophies will be awarded to overall Male and Female runners! Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, with best overall times in 7 different age categories.
AWARDS FOR WALKERS:
Trophies will be awarded for first place overall Male and Female walkers! Medals will also be awarded to the 2nd and 3rd place walkers coming across the finish line.
MORE AWARDS:
*The Team who has the most participants will take home the "Anne Glauber Team Spirit" traveling trophy!
*The Team that raises the most money will take home the "Answer the Call" traveling trophy!

ABOUT HELP LINE/2-1-1
Help Line/211 is a program run by Family Service Association of NEPA and serves 17 counties as a referral service and first response point for crisis calls. Some of these crisis calls include disaster relief, mental health, homeless services, child abuse/neglect, energy assistance, runaways, holiday assistance, victim services and substance abuse. Help Line has continued to be a loyal safety net for Northeastern Pennsylvania and is critical to the residents, communities and service providers in providing 24/7 telephone information, referral, advocacy, and after hour crisis support for the past 45 years.
ABOUT PAULY FRIEDMAN
Pauly Friedman was a Board Member at Family Service Association of NEPA. She served as Board Chair from 1988 through 1990 and organized the first fundraiser for Family Service Association of NEPA in modern history. Pauly also formed the Friends Committee, the volunteer fundraising arm of Family Service Association of NEPA. The Walk/Run is in memory of Pauly and her commitment to families. Proceeds raised from this event will benefit Help Line/211, Pauly's favorite program at Family Service Association of NEPA.
