Description
Our 2023 theme of Steadfast Pursuit reminds us of what it's like to run a 5K. You may get tired, but the reward of finishing the race is amazing!
Join us for our annual Abogar 1:27 Run - a 5k at Apple Valley Creamery ending with the best chocolate milk on earth!! The race supports Abogar International Ministries, an organization dedicated to serving and advocating for children in Latin America. Learn more at www.abogarim.org!
Our Mission Statement:
To advocate for and minister to children who are orphaned or living on the street, and youth at risk, throughout Latin America; networking with ministries, churches, businesses, groups, and individuals to establish, preserve, and strengthen lifelong families and lifelong homes to offer these children Christ-centered hope, stability, love, and an opportunity-filled future.
The race will be timed and roads will be monitored by police for safety.
7:00 – 7:45am: Sign-in/Registration at Morning Hour Chapel
7:45am: Welcome & Announcements
7:50am: Walk to starting line on Church Road
8:00am: Race Begins
9:00am: Prizes awarded at Apple Valley Creamery, 541 Germany Road, East Berlin
