A Haven Remembrance Walk followed by Nest Fest

At A Haven we support grieving children with a family-centered approach. We acknowledge that empowering families to walk through grief together is an important piece in supporting a grieving child.  

Research reveals that how the parent/guardians grieve, openness, and family communication significantly impact the grief experience of a child.  That is why A Haven’s focus is to include, support, and equip these trusted adults to lead their children, together as a family through grief, in addition to providing a safe place for children, teens, and young adults to know they are not alone.  

A Haven is proud to announce the first annual Remembrance Walk and family fun Nest Fest.  Join us for a day of activities for the whole family, face painting, tie dye t-shirt making, a magic show and so much more!  Nest Fest is free and is for all participants.  

A $25 fee is required for participation in the 3-mile Remembrance walk (also a short .7 mile walk option) and fundraising is encouraged. All proceeds from this event will support A Haven programs and services.
