About Us: The Blair Mill 5K was thought of by The Wellness Committee at Blair Mill Elementary School. Our committee is comprised of faculty and staff, along with our HSA, whose main goal is to improve the health and wellness our students. We want to help our students have as many opportunities as possible to live healthier lifestyles. We are hosting a 5k to raise money so that we can financially assist our boys and girls in becoming active participants in after school activities as well as programs within and outside Hatboro-Horsham Township. Stay tuned for how we plan to use the money raised for our BM students!
When: Blair Mill Wellness 5k will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2015. 1/2 Mile Kid Run will start at 8:00 AM, followed by the 5k at 8:30AMWhere: NEW LOCATION: Blair Mill Elementary School and the surrounding neighborhood
Cost: 13 & under $10 (choice of doing 1/2 mile kid run or 5k)
14 & Up $20 (5k only) Course: The run will begin and end in the Blair Mill playground. We will weave through the nearby neighborhood and end back at the playground.
Age Group Awards:
Overall Top 3-Male & Females 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Male and Female in the following Age Groups: Ages 5 to 9 (if in 1/2 mile kid run, gets medal; 5k run, not guaranteed prize)Ages 10-13 (if in 1/2 mile kid run, gets medal; 5k run, not guaranteed prize)
