Welcome to French Creek Racing's 2nd annual Virtual Tri Challenge.
Your registration includes a FREE FCR Swim Cap. If you complete at least 3 of the course challenges, you'll also receive a t-shirt and a custom award.
Anyone who signed up for our "Frozen Hare" event will automatically be entered in the Challenge/Results for our Lawrence Park location. Send us a message for a discount code.
Challenge includes the following options:
1K and 5K Pool Swims
Sprint and Olympic Triathlons
Sprint and Olympic Duathlons
Sprint and Olympic AquaVelo (Aquabike)
You can complete these distances/events for any/all of the following locations:
1. Virtual - Complete the distances at your own pool, bike trainer, treadmill, or pick your own bike/run course and submit those times.
Options 2-9: Complete the distances at your pool or OURS. 1 Swim PER Event, i.e. 1 Swim per Bike/Run. Sprint swim = 750m/825y, Sprint bike = 20K, Sprint run = 5K. Olympic swim = 1500m/1650y, Olympic bike = 40K, Olympic run = 10K. 1K swim = 1,000m/1,100y, 5K swim = 5,000m/5,500y.
3. Valley Forge Sprint/Olympic - start and finish at the Betzwood trailhead at Valley Forge National Historic Park.
Sprint = 750m/825y swim, 14.1mi Bike, 5K Run
Olympic = 1500m/1650y swim, 24.6mi Bike, 10K Run
9. Pinelands Sprint/Olympic - start and finish at Batsto, NJ.
Sprint = 750m/825y swim, 15.6mi Bike, 5K Run - Batona Trail, 2.5K out and back from Batsto visitor’s center
Olympic = 1500m/1650y swim, 25.6mi Bike, 10K Run - Batona Trail, 5K out and back from Batsto visitor’s center
You can complete the courses at any time between 2/13 and 5/28. They do NOT have to be done all on the same day, but you may only count 1 swim per event, i.e. you can't take your fastest swim time and apply to all courses. You must complete a unique swim per bike/run. Complete the courses as many times as you'd like, and submit your fastest times. Please note that all courses are OPEN TO TRAFFIC. We do not make any representation about the quality of applicable roads and shoulders. Riders and runners should use extreme caution, especially at intersections. Please follow the rules of the road and be safe!
