The Sweetest Race is an event for the entire family with all you can eat ice cream sundaes served after the race. All proceeds benefit both the North East High School Scholarship Fund in memory of Debbie and Laurie O'Neal and the North East High School Cross Country Team.
Awards
Prizes will be given to the overall 5k walk and 5k run winners in both the male and female divisions. Individual male and female for the 5k run only will be given to winners in the following age groups: 80+, 70-79, 60-69, 50-59, 40-49, 30-39, 20-29, 14-19, 10-13, and Under 10.
The remaining prizes will be raffled off to all participants based on their bib number!
T-Shirts
Register before the t-shirt deadline to be guaranteed a Cherry Festival 5K shirt in your size. All registrations after the deadline will be given shirts based on remaining availability.

The start/finish line is located on Gibson St. right next to Gibson Park in North East, PA.

Packet pickup is in Gibson Park at the maroon tents near the start/finish line. Packet pickup will begin at 7:30am.
