Description
The Tomato Trot is back for its 6th event! The Tomato Trot is a run/walk event at the Furmano Foods plant in Northumberland, located at 770 Cannery Road (GPS Address: Please use 815 Cannery Road). 5K will be chip timed by Falcon Race Timing. This year’s event will benefit: Dwell Orphan Care and Keystone Family Alliance. Please join us to help support orphan and foster families in central PA!
Cash prize awards will be given to the top 3 overall finishers. Fun kids’ activities will be available during the 5K race. The Kids’ Fun Run will occur following the 5K. This is a rain or shine event.
This family fun event is perfect for people of all ages and abilities. Can YOU beat the Tomato?
Participants can compete for bragging rights against our running Tomato. Free t-shirt with registration by April 20 (some available for purchase at the event).
Schedule of Events (tentative):
8:30-9:45AM – Registration/Packet Pick-up
10AM – 5K Start
10:50AM – Fun Run
11AM – Awards Ceremony
Age Groups:
Male: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Female: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Awards: Top 3 overall finishers male and female and top 3 finishers in each age group (No duplication of awards).
