Join us, in-person, for the 13th annual Boxers' Trail 5K this fall! 


Sign up to run or walk on September 14th and help support amazing youth programming in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood.


There will be post-race nutrition and all participants will receive a t-shirt.


No refunds will be made, but please remember that all proceeds benefit youth programming at Mander Playground. Thank you for your understanding.

About the Trail

The Boxers Trail is like no other. It twists through forests and meadows, up hills and along shady creeks; passes historic mansions and vibrant playgrounds. This trail was a favorite of many other boxing greats.

About the Run

The Boxers Trail 5K is an annual event, hosted by hosted by Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, the Fairmount Park Conservancy and the Strawberry Mansion community with the generous support of Philly Races.

The event begins at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 14th at the Mander Playground (2140 N. 33rd St, at the intersection of N. 33rd St and Diamond St.). Packet pickup and event day registration begin at 8:30 a.m.

All proceeds support youth programs at Mander Playground in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood.

The Cause: Mander Playground

Mander Playground is located at 2140 N. 33rd St, at the intersection of N. 33rd St and Diamond St.

Originally built in 1961, the playground includes a recreation center with space for arts and crafts and other activities, a meeting room, and restrooms.

Mander Playground offers a wide variety of youth programming, including soccer, flag football, cheerleading, salsa, movie nights, summer camps, after-school programs, and walking clubs.
