DIRECTIONS: REGISTRATION WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE ENTRANCE OF THE BEN FRANKLIN BRIDGE (OUTSIDE) ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE BRIDGE.
LOOK FOR VISUAL CUES @ 4TH & FLORIST STS.
ARRIVE PROMPTLY @ 9AM TO RECEIVE T-SHIRT AND BIB (FOR RUNNERS)
“Bridge to Opportunity” 5K Run/Walk across the Ben Franklin Bridge is in support of the Veterans Multi-Service Center and jobs for local veterans.
Job development is one of many comprehensive services provided by the VMC. We offer training to build skills and classes to assist with resume writing and interview skills. Your participation will directly support veterans in obtaining employment, so Walk or Run to provide local Veterans with opportunity!
Last year the VMC placed over 300 Veterans in jobs and trained 200 Veterans in various skills. We plan to exceed those numbers in the upcoming year and need YOUR support.
The Run/Walk will commence, continue across the bridge to Camden, and return to our Headquarters. Registration begins at 9:00AM and the Run/Walk will begin at 10:00AM. Early bird registration of $25 runs until March 31st, Register after March 31st at $30. $35 onsite on Race Day. All participants will receive an impressively designed T-shirt!!

About the VMC
Since 1980, the Veterans Multi-Service Center (VMC) has existed solely to “serve those who have served”. The VMC is the only non-profit agency in the Philadelphia and surrounding areas that provides a comprehensive resource center available to all veterans in need. The VMC serves over 2,500 local veterans annually and is commited to providing services, programs, opportuniy, and advancement to veterans of the US military and their families.
