Get the gunk out of your legs
You'll run about 2 miles, visiting a few early parts of the Philadelphia Marathon course.
Get a "Throw Away" Shirt
and maybe spend lunch time in McGillin's the oldest continually operated drinking establishment in Philadelphia, opening in 1860
Even if you're not up for running with us Saturday you can stop by and have lunch and a beverage at McGillin's on your way to or from the Expo or Saturday races
Shortly after the Liberty Bell cracked and long before ground was broken for City Hall, McGillin’s Olde Ale House threw open its doors. Its beer taps have been flowing since 1860 — making it the oldest continuously operating tavern in Philadelphia. McGillin’s has outlasted Strawbridge’s, the Civil War and even Prohibition. McGillin’s celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2010.

Welcome, and thank you for participating in tomorrow’s CrackedBell ShakeOut Run from McGillin’s Olde Ale House.
McGillin’s is located at: 1310 DRURY STREET, PHILADELPHIA, PA 19107 McGillin’s does not open until 11:00AM
Please find pre-run bathroom facilities on your way to McGillin’s.
The run will assemble at 10:30AM in what looks like a small alley in front of McGillin’s.
We will be giving you a THROW AWAY shirt, suitable for wearing to the starting line on Sunday. We’d appreciate you sharing your pics and tagging on your socials
Run at your own pace. The group will be small. The two mile route traces some of the early miles of Sunday’s course.
When you return to the area you are welcomed to enjoy McGillin’s FOOD MENU BEER MENU
The Convention Center entrance for the expo is .41 of a mile from McGillin’s
