Ben Franklin Mob Hash House Harriers (BFMH3)

 Club Information:

A drinking club with a running problem! The Ben Franklin Mob Hash House Harriers (BFMH3) is the Philadelphia-based chapter of the Hash House Harriers, a worldwide group of non-competitive running social clubs. We [kinda] run, following a puzzle-like trail marked by one of us (called the hare for the evening) every Thursday night somewhere in the city of Philadelphia. Runs typically last about an hour and a half (with plenty of stops) covering 3-5 miles. We begin and end each run at a bar because we like beer. Some of us also like running. We’re not competitive about running, though some of us are competitive runners; we’re not competitive about drinking beer either, though many of us are better at that than running. At the bar we “circle up” to socialize, sing bawdy songs, and cause a general ruckus, all in the name of the fight against sobriety and to persuade the older members that they are not as old as they feel.

Run Information:

Every Thursday night, rain or shine, 7:30pm with meet up locations rotating within the city.

ALL YEAR!
