Spring time is the perfect time to step-up your fitness game!

CRUSH your fitness goals in time for beach season with The RUNegades' Step Up For Spring Seasonal Challenge!
Run a specified number of miles from April 1st to June 21st and earn swag and rewards as you hit your goals!

Here's How It Works!
1. Choose the level of your challenge: 150 (12-15 miles per week), 200 miles (18-20 miles per week), or 300+ miles (25-27 miles per week).
2. Run with us at group runs, with other groups at their runs, or on your own. Any run or walk counts!
3. Log your miles on our easy to use miles tracker.
4. Earn your swag and rewards as you complete each level!

Here's The Motivation!
1. All registrants will receive a full-tech T-shirt with our one-of-a-kind challenge-theme design.
2. When you hit 150 miles, you'll earn the super cool (artist-designed) Step Up For Spring medal! (It stands alone BUT ALSO CONNECTS to our winter, summer, and fall medals).
3. If you hit 200 miles, you'll earn a pair of special-edition RUNegades' running socks!
4. If you hit 300 miles, you'll earn a FREE ENTRY into the Pottstown Patriotic 5K on July 4th. (Yes! The RUNegades are bringing back that beloved event!)
**FREE SHIPPING IS INCLUDED IN YOUR REGISTRATION. WE'LL MAIL YOUR SWAG TOWARD THE END OF THE CHALLENGE!

FREE Option
We don't want anyone to feel left out, so if you want the group motivation, but don't want the swag, you can sign up for the challenge for free.

A portion of the proceeds to benefit Illumination Community Outreach of Royersford, PA
Illumination is a grassroots, all-volunteer, charitable nonprofit that serves towns along the Schuylkill River, providing hunger relief, clothing security, community empowerment, homeless outreach, and recovery resources.

**300+ Challenge Championship!

We have an exciting NEW ADDITION FOR 300-MILERS and ULTRA RUNNERS!
Set your own goal and become the spring challenge champion!
If you're signed up for 300 miles, you can set a higher goal. You'll still get all the swag at 300, but the person who SETS AND ACHIEVES the highest mileage goal will be deemed the Step Up For Spring Challenge Champion.
The top three will be enshrined on our new RUNegades website (coming soon) forever!
You'll also compete for the yearlong "RUNegade for All Seasons" championship.

The goal you enter by 4/31/2021 WILL BE YOUR FINAL GOAL FOR THE SEASON.
If you don't reach your goal, you will not qualify. So...you've got to set a goal high enough that you think you'll win, but low enough that you think you'll reach it.

**NEW ELEVATION CHALLENGE!
What's stepping-up without a little ACTUAL stepping up!??! When you submit your results, you'll also be able to upload your elevation gain! The runners with the top elevation gains will win extra prizes and be enshrined on our RUNegades website for all of recorded history.

**ALL-NEW RECOVERY CHALLENGE**
Win a FREE 12-week coaching session!
In conjunction with the Step Up For Spring, fellow RUNegade and running Coach Ryan Drummond at Threshold Athletic Coaching is offering a “Recovery Challenge”. You'll track your morning heart rate to monitor your recovery and fitness gains during the Spring Challenge.

The Recovery Challenge participant who logs the most daily morning heart rate measurements will receive a FREE 12-week training plan with online coaching from Threshold Athletic Coaching.  Ties will be decided by random selection.  Participation is easy:  a link will be provided to the TAC website where you can enter your email address and your morning heart rate for the day.  That’s it.  At the end of the Spring Challenge period, the winner will receive their FREE plan.
