The Phoenixville Distance Project: Virtual Race Series (5k, 10k, Half-Marathon)

Phoenixville Cross-Country invites you to discover how amazing a place Phoenixville is to run!  Offering a variety of race distances to participate in, The Phoenixville Distance Project: Virtual Race Series allows runners to engage in a race of their choosing - 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon - in the amazing running town and community that is Phoenixville.  Our goal is to support the strong running community already present in Phoenixville - and to get others active and appreciative of all the town has to offer!  Proceeds from the virtual race series benefit the Phoenixville Cross-Country program.  All participants will receive an official Phoenixville Distance Project race shirt!  

To participate in the Phoenixville Distance Project Virtual Race Series, follow these steps:

1) Register for this event at RunSignUp; deadline to register is August 4th, 2019

2) Locate a park, trail, a loop, or any course that is within Phoenixville, PA and identify the distance you plan to participate in (5K, 10K, or Half Marathon).  

3) Run your chosen course and distance within  the town of Phoenixville...and afterwards, tell us about your Phoenixville Distance Project Experience! Head to the 2018 Phoenixville Distance Project Virtual Race Series Facebook event page, “join” the event if you haven’t already, then upload a photo of your GPS tracker showing your mileage and time, share a selfie of you where you ran or walked, or post a comment about your run. You can also post your photos on Instagram (#phxdistanceproject) or tweet about it on Twitter (#phxdistanceproject). There is no need to report your run to us! Letting us know about your Phoenixville Distance Project via social media is preferred, but not mandatory!

4) All race shirts will be sent out on Monday August 5th, 2019.
